1. We believe THE BIBLE to be the inspired Word of God.
2. We believe there is one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in THE DEITY OF CHRIST, in His virgin birth, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His resurrection from the dead.

4. We believe in the absolute necessity of REGENERATION by the Holy Spirit for salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.

SCHOOL GOALS

PURPOSE
1) Lead young people to Christ.
2) Train them in the Word of God.
3) Develop them in Christian Character.
4) Promote in them healthy interpersonal relationships.
5) Develop academic excellence in all subject matter.

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Pick up an APPLICATION from the school office. WE ARE OPEN FROM 8 AM TO 6 PM Mondays through Fridays.

2. Secure a LETTER FROM YOUR PASTOR that states that you and your child are members of that church congregation, in good standing, and actively involved.

Your application cannot be considered without the PASTOR'S LETTER (The Pastor must sign it).

3. Return the Application and Pastor's Letter.

4. Your application will be reviewed by the Principal and Pastor.

5. Following the application review, you will be called for an interview.

6. For PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN --
Bring the Birth Certificate and Shot Records.

THE CHILD MUST BE (5) FIVE YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1
FOR KINDERGARTEN.

THE CHILD MUST BE 6 (SIX) YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1 FOR FIRST GRADE.

For FIRST THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE

A copy of the last report card
A record of all shots
A copy of Basic Skills Tests or Test given from the
School where attended.

THE EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IS NOT EQUIPPED TO SERVICE CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.

FUND RAISERS

1. Emmanuel Christian School Banquet –
Goal $15,000 The Banquet is held the 4th Thursday in May each year. Call the School @ 773-239-6829 for ticket information. $50 individual $500 for a table of 10 persons.


2. CANDY DRIVE –
Goal $10,000 to purchase school equipment
as needed.

3. JULY GOLF OUTING – Held at the University Park Golf Club in Richton Park, IL. The Outing is held the 2nd Wednesday in July starting @ 7:30 AM. $100 Golf and Dinner. $50 Dinner Only. Call the School for information @ 773-239-6829.

Goal $20,000 to purchase a new textbook series for
grades First through Eighth Grade each year.

ENDOWMENT FUND LEADER

PURPOSE: The endowment fund will be used to:

1) To assist in the ongoing ministry of the Emmanuel Christian School through resources that would help in the cost of an Elementary Christian School education.

TOGETHER WE BUILD (TWB) Project
2006 – 2016

GOAL: Build a 21st century structure to develop children, youth, & adults.

1. Build a two floor multipurpose building.

2. Build a Gym facility that will serve as a banquet hall and multipurpose center.

3. Build classrooms for Preschool and Day Care.

4. Construct a basement locker room, weight room,
and storage room.


HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Be 1 of 300 to give a $300 a year donation for the next ten years to the Together We Build Project.

Our goal is $1 MILLION DOLLARS in ten years to expand the land and the parking and create a vision for 2016.
